St Monica School, run by the Augustinian Sisters, Servants of Jesus and Mary, is a Primary and Secondary School which has been accommodated in its present premises ever since 1962. Its history in B’Kara however goes back to 1951 when it opened its doors to students for the first time in Mannarino Road.
The Primary sector consists of one Grade 1 and one Grade 2 class and three classes for each Grade, 3 to 6, with a student population of 372 girls. The Secondary Sector with a student population of 423 girls consists of three classes in each Form, 1 to 5.
The school, committed as it is, to offer the best learning environment possible, has over the years been modified and added to as a building to meet the ever-growing needs of modern education.
